Possibly one of the most untouched locations around the Lake District, Wastwater is a firm contender for most breath taking of all the lakes. This set was taken during the day and evening in Spring time, using long exposure techniques. Wastwater Lake can be found in the Wasdale Valley in the English Lake District. A remote lake measuring 3 miles long and at 260 feet deep it is the deepest of the lakes. A spectacular location, unspoilt and not commercialised it is overlooked completely on one side by the 200 feet high mountains and the Screes made up of millions of fragments of broken rock. It truly is a spectacular place to shoot. The valley itself was colonised by Norse farmers in the 9th century and almost looks untouched since then!. Each photograph is available as a signed original print or signed and framed in black, beech, mahogany, silver, white or gold coloured wood, with a white mount which really lifts the image.
