The gentle waterfall at Thirlmere Lake makes for a great long exposure photographic location. The cloud formation and the water appear to be flowing into the same central point. The rock made for a perfect angle touching the horizon line with a series of smaller rocks at equal distances shooting off into the distance. Thirlmere is situated in Cumbria, in the English Lake District. It is 3.5 miles long and 158 feet deep. It supplies over 10 percent of the North West's water. It has a dam with a height of 104 feet. This process has totally submerged Armboth and Wythburn with only one small church still visible. It is overshadowed by Helvellyn to the east. Each photograph is available as a signed original print or signed and framed in black, beech, mahogany, silver, white or gold coloured wood, with a white mount which really lifts the image.
